David Fischer I have only listened to this album twice now (more inbound), but I can state with clear conscience that Faustian Reawakening is a worthy sophomore record. With the bar set by their grandiose debut album, the chances to not meet the expectations were incredibly high, but Wachenfeldt still surpassed them with another sophisticated blackened, trashy death metal record. Three years ago, I titled Wachenfeldt one of the most promising blackened death bands out there. This record proves it to be true. Favorite track: Where Everything Ends.
