David Fischer Wachenfeldt is always impressive. The Interpreter was one of 2019's biggest releases for me, blending violin, thrash, and blackened death into something spectacular and captivating. Faustian Reawakening was announced quite some time ago, and I am very pleased to hear that Wachenfeldt has stuck to its sound while still expanding it. With Halsu being a more 'traditional' Wachenfeldt song, Orion is an impressive Metallica interpretation with loads of tasty violin. Behold the Faustian Reawakening! Favorite track: Halsu.
